Axel Dörfler 3cd9c86453 Quit() when called from another thread, never posted _QUIT_ to the looper, ...

and therefore waited indefinitely for its demise.
Run() had the usual "if error != my special error -> everything fine" that
seems to be everywhere in the Application Kit.
Minor cleanup.
