The action vm_page_fault takes should depend on whether the iframe to be handled is a user iframe or not. The check for the user flag in the error code does however only check if the fault happend in user or kernel space. Use IFRAME_IS_USER() instead which checks the privilege level of the iframe. Under 32 bit x86 this also handles vm86 compatibility mode properly. This is the same logic as used on FreeBSD (TRAPF_USERMODE). Fixes #13930. Trying Haiku
Haiku provides pre-built nightly images and release images. Haiku is compatible with a large variety of hardware, but in case you don't want to "take the plunge" and install Haiku on bare metal, you can install it on a virtual machine (VM) instead. If you've never used a VM before, you can follow one of the "Emulating Haiku" guides.

Haiku is a meritocratic open source project with a large variety of tasks. Even if you can't write code, you can still help! Haiku needs designers, (technical) writers, translators, testers... Get involved and help out!
