This Baseball videogame is the first of its genre. There had been a [Baseball](/software/baseball-349/) videogame on the Magnavox Odyssey, but it was not really the same thing, half the action being with paper cards.
This version is the first "real" baseball all-videogame. Many baseball games in the following years will be inspired by this one.
From the promotional text:\
\- can be played by 1 or 2 player\
\- flat playing field with attractive stadium\
\- infield and outfield action, double plays\
\- strikeouts and walks possible\
\- outfielders can be repositioned\
\- realistic runners and fielders\
\- pitches can be fast or slow or curved
