text: My family bought this game new, and I still have it with box. The price tag says $38.97 (circa 1978). It does not have the AC/DC plug in converter, but does run with batteries. I''m not sure if the converter has been lost, or if it was an accessory we never owned (the box does not mention it). The output is VIDEO ONLY, sound is generated from a speaker in the console (with no volume control). Game play sometimes has observable bugs, such as balls continuing to spawn after end of game, and score continuing to increment. Still, it is a very playable version of Pong and has been a very reliable unit for the last 35+ years.

I won one of these at an auction a while back, boxed, for about $10 or so. As far as I''ve seen and researched, it seems that a boxed one is only worth about $10-$20, and about half that for unboxed.
Very fun to play, by the way...I''m from the generation after these systems came out (born in 1985), and I still pull this out and play it from time to time.
