This man represents the success according to Apple. Thanks to its brand new Apple II computer, this young executive can now visualize his profits (see how the graph is rising!) on a tiny monochrome monitor and print them on an even smaller printer...

But there are other success symbols on this picture : a clean office for his own, high enough in the building (because the higher you are the more powerful you are!) and surrounded by modern high towers and buildings.

Let's face it : Apple uses all the symbols of the typical american success to sell its computers to the rest of the world... and it worked!
