Classic Hangman videogame, though this one might be the first of its genre on a console along with Hangman for the [Atari VCS 2600](/museum/atari-vcs-2600/), and [Hangman](/software/hangman-tic-tac-toe-doodle/) for the [APF M1000](/museum/apf-imagination-machine/) released the same year (1978). Maybe there was even earlier versions on computer systems, but no proof has been found yet.
This version for the Channel-F offers many options and a has a 160 words built-in vocabulary! Options include: 1 or 2 player games, with or without score and 13 variations (free letter, unknown length, squeeze, etc.). You can of course enter your own words.
