I have a Commodore tv game 3000H with 3 extrnal paddles. It works OK giving a blue background with white bats but there is a lot of "shadowing" on my flat screen TV. I have considered trying to convert it to AV with a similar back porch mod that I did for my ZX81. I bought it from GEM (pre ASDA) in their sale, with no gun but that would be useless now anyway. Happy memories of more simpler times :-)

I owned a Commodore TV Game 2000K from 1977 to 2003. Then to my dismay "someone" in the family threw it out thinking it junk.\
I desperately seek a replacement to teach my nephews how to play. I still have the extra paddles! HELP!!
This one has 4 pads to allow 4 players games! The texts on the systems are both in german and english.
This system is the only pong to use the MOSTek MPS-7601 chipset. Here is what www.pong-story.com says about it:
MOSTek, another manufacturer well known in the micro computer market, released a quite advanced line of video game chips in 1977: the MPS-7600 series. Rather than integrating the components of a complete PONG game, this type of chip contained some circuits to display graphics and generate sound effects, all of which were driven by a simple processor and a 512-word ROM (Read Only Memory). Four versions of this chip are known to exist. Each of them contains customised circuits adapted to the games played. For example, the PONG version (MPS-7600-001) that plays four games for two or four players has some special paddle and ball generators. This particular chip was also released in PAL format as MPS-7601. So far, only Commodore is known to have used it in a system (model 3000H).
We need more info about this pong ! If you designed, used, or have more info about this system, please send us pictures or anything you might find useful.
