The Piccoline is a direct descendant of the [Piccolo](/museum/regnecentralen-rc-700-piccolo/), and was launched in 1984.
It was more or less strictly meant for Danish educational institutions such as schools, high schools and universities. It was used extensively for teaching basic programming skills, using the languages Comal 80 and Pascal.
Thanks to **Henrik Schmidt** from Denmark for information and pictures.
