| PHILIPS VW0020 |
80-col dot-matrix printer |
This printer was a rebadged version of the Seikosha GP-500.\
It was a 80-column, 50 CPS model with a 7x5 dot matrix head.\
Commodore and Atari used same hardware basis for their MPS-801 and 1029 printers. |

About the 2 cartridge slots, of some MSX computers... 1 Cartridge slot could be used to insert a music-module or FM-pack, and then if you inserted a game-cartridge in slot 2, you had better sound/music with digital sound. |

I love this machine! Spent a lot of time with it when I was 11-14 years old, even learned how to do Assembly on it...
At the time, PCs were slow in comparison. The Z80A had a lot of registers, which made it the most powerful 8-bit CPU ever. The 8080 and 8086 where much smaller and less versatile. Z80s are still used today, often in embedded systems, like network cards. |

Seems like a very nice little computer, unusual directional pad on the unit itself... like the colour... not sure what the point of having two cart slots is, as I couldnt get mine to do anything with two slots (can you switch between them??) |
